A green space every day
I've been thinking about doing this for a while, as a way of prompting myself to get out of the house more. There are lots of green spaces in and around Reading, but I make very little use of them, spending too much of my time hunched over the computer in my dark little house. I'm much better at taking exercise when I have an objective. So my objective is to post a picture from a local green spot, every single day; mostly taken on my phone, like this one, otherwise I'll get sidetracked into photography, which is a whole 'nother distraction. Sometimes it might be my own garden; that's a green space too, and I'm very lucky to have it!
Here is my first pic, from today's trip up the road to McIlroy Park, a lovely oasis, mostly wooded, in Norcot/Tilehurst. Bluebells! The sound of birdsong was wonderful, too. You can hear it here
