Prospect Park

Today, I went up to Prospect Park, which once was the parkland of the still-existing Regency mansion house. There are lots of mature trees and meadow areas, and the trees are well-managed, with the dead ones left in place for the wildlife. Everyone was observing social distancing very nicely. Some of us SAT DOWN, on the grass or on benches. Sssh! The birdsong was wonderful, again. Later I'll listen to a CD of birdsong, and try to learn to distinguish more of the songs.
