Sulham Hill

My first drive-then-walk excursion, to Sulham Hill, a few miles West. It has a small car park and public footpaths crossing fields, though woods and copses. There were other people there, all social-distancing very nicely. I saw a heron by one of the ponds, and a lone lapwing above the field. I wondered where all the other lapwings are. The hawthorn blossom is out.
