Beetroot seedlings

Today I did some necessary tasks in the garden: planted out some beetroot seedlings, planted some achocha seeds courtesy of the Reading Food Growing Group seed swap, and pulled up lots of last year's perpetual spinach that is going to seed, and also forget-me-nots. I hope the snails don't eat all the beetroot seedlings.
