Garden dispatch
I missed a few days of posting but it's been all go in the garden.
Hyssop. I don't know why everyone doesn't have this. It makes really delicious tea, the flowers are beautiful, and the bees love it. I'm encouraging it to spread out and make side shoots.
Last year's beetroot, which I'm allowing to go to seed so I can collect the seed.
Ditto the 'perpetual spinach', 'leaf beet', or chard:
Sweet cicely, after some stern cutting back. That stuff SPREADS.
Cherries forming - far too many - not sure if I should thin them?
Chives and salad burnet:
The very vigorous grapevine. If not regularly clipped, it's a huge collapsing mess by the end of the summer.
