Roses

The roses on the front wall of the house have been in need of support for a long time. I tried ages ago to drill into the pebbledash, but even with a masonry bit, I couldn't do it. Today I have managed to wire the rose up to some cable clips, belonging to a long defunct satellite dish cable, which I guess we really ought to take down. Didn't think of it until *after* I had some work done on the house a few years ago. Anyway, this rose bush puts out beautiful, enormous flowers every year, even with the neglect it's been suffering.
